Temples in Coimbatore

Perur Patteeswarar Temple      Patteeswarar temple is situated 7 Kms west of Coimbatore near river Noyyal, on the Siruvani main road. Perur temple is one of the best known Shivastalams of the Kongu region. It was built by the King Karikala Cholan over 1500 years ago. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva also known as Patheeswarar. The sculptures in the hall, Kanagasabai are exquisite.

Masani Amman Temple      The Shrine serves as a welfare Government listening to the grievances of the public, as a clinical dispensary remedying the physical ills of the people and as a court of justice relieving the distress of men and women. Devotees record their aspirations, claims and hopes on a piece of paper and submit it to the temple priest to be placed on the trident of the deity. It is firmly believed that the Goddess responds to their prayers within a period of 90 days.

Marudhamalai Murugan Temple      Maruthamalai Murugan temple is situated upon a scenic hill that is a part of the beautiful lush green Western Ghats and is about 15 km from the vibrant city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Marudamalai is one of the most popular abodes of Lord Muruga and in importance it is next only to the Arupadaiveedu, for Muruga devotees.
